Our repair shop is in room 1015-E in the MUN Engineering Building. To find it, first locate room 1015, on the bottom floor, and then go through the blue, swinging doors. Hang an immediate right and you’re in!
Our Repair Shop is now open to the entire MUN community. For a 20$ annual fee, you can become a BikeShare member and access the tools, mechanics and resources of our Repair Shop. People with BikeShare bikes are already BikeShare members.
We are committed to promoting empowerment through knowledge, and knowledge through instruction and practice. Our mechanics are there to work with you, not for you. From flat tires to broken derailleurs, our mechanics will work alongside you and guide you through the repair process so that you leave with not only a fixed bike, but with more mechanical knowledge and more confidence with your bike. You can’t leave your bike with us to have it fixed and returned at a later date – we want you to be part of the process.
We will also have parts for sale on site, in case your repair job requires more than just a tightening of cables. Since we’re a non-profit, we get the parts at a discounted rate. This means that you get the parts at a discounted rate. We can only accept cash for the parts and membership fees, and it must be paid on the same day as the repair.

We are currently seeking any and all volunteers to help out our mechanics when we open to the public. Even if you can only change a flat tire, you can help. You’ll learn a lot, become more confident in your skills, and get parts for your own bike at cost. Interested potential volunteers should email us at munbikeshare(at)gmail(dot)com.
