BikeShare began in 2007 as a volunteer-driven project and unfortunately many of the dedicated volunteer who started BikeShare have moved away. We are always looking for more volunteer help. You can get involved by:
- Joining our Steering Committee – we are always looking for people dedicated to cycling, and to promoting less car travel and more sustainable, eco-conscious travel methods in St. John’s, to help shape our organization.
- Volunteering in the Repair Shop – even if you can only change a flat tire, you can definitely lend a hand. Being a volunteer mechanic will allow you to gain lots of hands-on experience and learn lots more about bike maintenance. You’ll also get to hang out with a great group of people and you won’t have to pay a membership fee to come in and use our Shop for your own bike-ular needs.
